Battery life question

Hey, I've got a question on the 2016 Alienware 15. I want the 1060 version with the 300nits (not the UHD) screen and the 99wh battery. I had heard that this version gets worse battery life, but I really need that 6hour ish battery life. Dells website doesn't specify which is which. Does this have a 6 hour battery life or what's the deal? Also anybody have any experience with this laptop and can tell me from that? Thanks!

I know that the fhd with g sync has around 3 hours of battery life whereas the one without has 6.

G-sync prevents the use of Optimus which switch off the 1060 while not gaming. Find a laptop with optimus and you'll get 5 hours on average. Only laptop that will run for over 6 hours (closer to 8) with a 1060 is the Gigabyte Aero 14.
