battery not charging

I left my laptop unused for months. Not it shows charging but it does not charge. It used to show 33% few days ago now it shows only 27%. Lenovo Idea pad. It works only ac adapter. On battery it does not work. And my battery is inbuilt.

it works only with the charger plugged in. If the charger is plugged out it is off. And my battery is inbuilt.

its going to need a new battery.
