Hello, I'm a newcomer to this forum and my friend suggested to me when I asked about this problem. Anyways,

I have a Razer Blade laptop that I have used for a couple of months now, and so far, I had no problems with it, until I opened it today and when I checked how much power was left, I only saw that it couldn't detect my battery. It was unplugged, and yet it still could work. A few moments later, it went back to normal for about 5 minutes, then it said there was no battery detected. Afterwards, after a few restarts and shut downs, it permanently stayed this way. I'm not sure if it can still charge but it has not turned off yet, which probably means that it can charge. I'm not sure what happened to my laptop since I haven't gone out of he country with this laptop and used different volts or something like that. I'm very confused and I am looking for answers on this problem.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: Big problem, when I open up the game Dota 2 or any other game, it immediately shuts down with no warning. It has no problem running Google Chrome and other programs that aren't games, but it shuts down when I open up Dota 2. What's wrong with it??

UPDATE 2: A whole different problem has appeared. When I play a game, say for the usual 40 minutes, it shuts down randomly. My laptop isn't even hotter than usual, yet it just shuts down randomly, without warning. My charger is plugged in properly, as well. I'm really concerned as to what's happening here.

Try unplugging the power cord whilst having the battery plugged in. If it shuts down immediately the battery doesn't work at all.

For your application problem try searching cmd in start and run as admin. When in CMD, run "sfc /scannow". After it's done you should reboot and see if it fixed your problem.
