Solved! Beginner needs help.

Hi I'm new to all this just started my smart home have an echo plus, philip hue lights and one smart plug.
If i wanted to control my tv, sky and dvd box to turn on and off, would i need a smart plug for each device? Sorry for the silly question just new to all this.

You can turn on your AV stuff with smart plugs but you can't usually turn them on with them. The TV and Skybox would want to be in standby so shutting off all power is not the way they were intended to be used.
You can use a Logitech Harmony Hub to control them with the IR codes that they were intended to be used with.

Thanks again. I have a smart tv now which i can turn off with alexa and now have the skyq 2tb box so i can control that with the one remote now lol. I am thinking of getting a logitech harmony hub though is it worth getting one?
