Best 17.3' Laptop with great sound quality for music producition

Hi,

I would go for the Lenovo Y700 and you'll get your moneys worth. :) 1TB of storage plus a SSD is a good value and should make it faster as well compare to the other 2 laptop. You also have the latest Intel processor enough RAM and a good GPU.

It's not a right or wrong thing to get the 256: it's a matter of preference. 256 SSD will keep you occupied for a while. Does the laptop you buy have an ability to add extra RAM? If so, it should have a slot where you could add another 256 SSD. With 256 alone, you'll have fast bootup and an ability to store 6-10 data heavy games, which is a matter of preference.
