What kind of files are you trying to hide? How much space do you need for those files?

windows 10 home: theoretically, hundreds of gigabytes; forgot to mention that i would like program that can work on my external hard drives (up to 2tb)...

looks way to complicated for me; i have very little computer knowledge...also, i want something that will make the file/folder invisible without being accessed by a password.
the programs i've tried all lock it from being opened (and even that i got around somehow) but not being identified as being on the pc thru a search (using 'search everything' program)

A subfolder, under your Documents folder. Only accessed by your user account, which is accessed with your password.
You do have a password on this, correct?

Who are you trying to hide this folder from?
