Best Budget LapTop for Me

So I need a laptop around $800-$1200 (Don't want to go over $1200). I wanted to build a pc but my parents won't let me because parents. I will mainly use this pc for moderate gaming (Minecraft,EuroTruckSim2), coding, and 3D rendering. The laptop doesn't have to be touchscreen or a i7 or have a extreme graphics card or a lot of storage. It needs to have atleast 6-8gb of ram and a dedicated graphics card with a great processor. I want to buy this pc before Christmas/New Years. I want it to be a upgrade/better than my current desktop which is a hp pavilion elite m9340f. I don't want a apple or Alienware laptop because I heard they are overpriced and not worth the money.

Edit: I think the y50 is a better match but I'm confused with the models
