I am majoring in video production and need to buy a macbook pro. Where can i get the best deal including education pricing? Thanks!! Preferable under $1400.

Usually, Amazon and BH have prices similar to "education" prices, honestly, simply get at Amazon.

Retailers don't seem to be able to discount Mac's very much. You could always check with your college bookstore to see what pricing they can get. Another option that might save you more money is to buy a refurb straight from Apple. You probably won't be able to tell that it isn't a brand new product.
