Best gaming laptop for 1100$?

I think the only thing that will fall into that category would be the Lenovo Ideapad y510p. Only thing I don't like about it is the 5400 RPM HDD. If I could find out if there is an option to either swap out the 8 GB SSD for an aftermarket or if there is room to install an aftermarket SSD while keeping the HDD I would buy this.

why is one 1099....whats so great about that one? has no ssd.... so why more?

The 1099 has a lower resolution (1366x768). Also, I believe the one on Lenovo's site for 1049 is not sli. Go to the link I gave, it has the 750's in sli.

Ah! Well you listed 1100 & the one I linked to is only 79 more. I don't think you'll get much closer unless you buy from Lenovo with a single 750. Sli 750's for 79 more seems like a good deal to me.

P.S. No tax or shipping from newegg either.
