Best headphones under 120usd

I cannot come to a conclusion on what headphones to buy under 120usd. I need headphones that I don't need an amp for, and the music I listen to is mainly edm (bass heavy) and some classical. On massdrop there's the AKG 553's (revision of the 550) but I've heard they are pretty flat. But they are on massdrop for 110$ so I'm not sure if I should pick them up. Is there anything that compares to the AKG 553 at this price point? Theres also the headset version of the Sennheiser hd598 on massdrop for 120$ but I've heard you need an amp to make them sound any good (and they are ugly imo). Should I just wait it out until some bassier cans pop up on massdrop? Budget is pretty strictly around 120$. Thanks!

i produce some EDM and my cloud II's are fine till i use my monitors. i dont know if anyone here would have those specific haedphones to compare to.

I know I can definitely get headphones much better than the cloud 2s in this price point, I'll also be using the headphones for gaming if that helps, but I mainly need them for bass heavy music

I'm leaning towards the Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X as they are the Sennheiser 598 with more bass and a mic slapped on which is supposedly pretty good.

most the guys here recommend senn's, but quality drops off the less you spend.

Yeah they are based off the 598s which many recommend, which are typically 150-180usd

I had been eyeing the beyerdynamic dt770 pro 80 ohm and they just dropped to 112$ as opposed to 180$ on Amazon so I picked those up. Thank you for the help!
