Best laptop for school and light gaming UNDER 700$ (Canadian)

First of all, I'm new here, so I might be pretty clueless.

Anyways, I am a student who is going to be in grade 8 this september, I have a laptop that can handle games pretty well (but is extremely unportable) so that won't be my main use of it, however, I would like it to be able to handle small indie/retro games, and emulation up to N64. While I will be gaming, the main focus will be productivity, this will be a laptop I bring with me to places, like school or to a friends, so it will need to have a good battery life (A minimum 6hours) and be very portable.
