1. What is your budget?

Around $1300 USD

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

Any size screen. Heavy isn't a problem but I would prefer something not too bulky.

3. What screen resolution do you want?

Highest possible

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Desktop replacement with some portable use.

5. How much battery life do you need?

Doesn't matter.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Occasional gaming, inlcuding GTA 4/5 and Battlefield 3. Medium settings are fine.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

No other intensive programs, just want the ability to use multiple programs and perform several tasks simultaneously.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

500GB or over

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

Any.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

5+ years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

DVD ROM/Writer (preferred)

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

I have heard that ASUS and Lenovo are the best, so I have been looking mostly at those. But I am open to any.. I am not very educated about this stuff so I am open to any opinions.

13. What country do you live in?

USA

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

I am looking for overall pretty good specs so I have the ability to play games at decent quality.

I originally purchased a Lenovo Y510P and it stopped turning on after the first day.. now that model (the one with the extra graphics card included) is currently recalled so that is out of the question for now.

Touchscreen would be a plus but is not required

While not a big deal, I'd prefer something that has decent atheistic quality so that I can bring it to meetings and things without it looking like a giant gaming laptop. Again heavy isn't a problem but at least somewhat sleek and nice enough looking to bring out.

Thanks! Let me know if there are any more questions I can answer..

Thanks, that definitely meets all of my requirements and I will look in to it. Some of the reviews for it show some poor screen quality.

Does anybody else have any similar suggestions?
