I assume when you mean collage work you mean researching, essay writing. What kind of games are you looking to play because I really don't recommend gaming on laptops as the lifespan reduces a lot.

I am having gta 5 so firstly I want laptop which can play gta 5 and similar games to it & I am also not extreme gamer so a laptop which can play games at playable fps ( 30 fps ) and med to high setting or med settings is enough & sorry for late reply

and more games are ac 4, project cars , watch dogs ,gta 4 ,hitman absolution,thief,tomb raider,cod bo 2 etc......

I would say that msi is the best for you as they make great budget laptops. Be prepared to change the laptop in about 2 -3 years though as this is the normal lifespan for most gaming laptops in your price range.

The best laptops that I am aware of is the msi ge range or the dominator range. But the dominator range is heavy whereas the ge range is generally ok to carry around. The lenovo I wouldn't recommend as it has a lot of issues with the screen. Also msi is known for gaming laptops whereas lenovo is more specialized in office work and workstations.
