hey Toms. I bought an ASUS K53E laptop not long ago.
http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/K53E/#specifications
it has an Intel® Core™ i5 2450M/ Processor
4gigs ram. 750gb HDD . I dont have it in front of me.
but It was suggested it had better speed as it had dedicated GFX card ect.
but I found even plugged in using AC its still SLOW arghh.

so the HDD is obv a 5400 rpm and the ram is 1333mhz.
which would you upgrade? I can go 2x4gb ram for $115 and its 1866 C9 ram.
or $78 for a 7200 750gb seagate sata 2.5" drive. which would be the best option if you had to pick one. I'm more productive then a gamer. so I'm leaning to the HDD myself. what do you guys think?

does anyone know of sites that sell better batteries for laptops?

Thx in advance

RAM upgrade is the easiest thing to do here.
A better hard drive would make boot and loading times, but it won't realy give any performacne boost

the only reason I am thinking HDD. is I was applying all the post SP1 updates it was just taking forever. ram doesn't really impact hat, as looking at performance tab it wasnt fully utilizing all the ram
