Essentially, on certain Nokia and SonyEriccsson phones, it is possible for
someone on a laptop to steal the contents of your phone without you knowing
about it. (called Bluesnarfing).
This has intereing implications if you are tailing an employee of a competitor
and he has a list of hist contacts/customers in his phone (and/or agenda with
time/dates he is meeting his customers).
Also, it is possible to broadcast messages to people on bluetooth
(bluejacking). (This is not illegal, but can be disconcerting if you get a
message telling you what you are wearing and you are in a public place).
