Bios Corruption on HP

Hi,
I have a problem with my hp r067no. The caps lock blinks twice and that indicates bios corruption. I have downloaded the recovery bios for this computer and tried the Win+B but to no avail. There is also no activity on the usb drive. And the drive inside the computer is empty so there is no Windows. Please Help🙁

Hi,
I shorted out my usb port in my hp 15 laptop and now it shows 2 blinks from caps lock. And that means that there is bios corruption. I plugged in a faulty micro usb cable and I think I shorted out the data and power lines in the usb port. And now it won't turn on. Please help

Not much you can do, if you can replace the BIOS chip you can try that, otherwise you would need a new motherboard.

It's a lost cause in my opinion -- dispose of it responsibly and buy a new PC.

Good thing that this laptop wasn't that pricy. Used one's go for around 50-150 dollars
