Bios reset toshiba satellite l760

My now ex girlfriend as a farewell present set a password on my bios I think. I turn on my laptop and I must supply a password to go any further. Is there a way to reset this ??

Personally, I'd write her stating that you are about to sue her for the cost of a new laptop and the software on it, so cough up the password or else.

Alternatively, contact Toshiba, explain the situation and be prepared to produce proof of ownership.

I agree with fihart. Have a lawyer fire off a letter to her and see if she changes her tone and gives you the password.
