bitdefender: can i use it on two different devices?

I want to buy the bitdefender total security 2018 and i thought to get it cheaper maybe i can split the money with my friend and we could both use it since it says i can use it on 5 devices, does it work that way?
and also how does it work with 5 devices, does it give 5 keys or smething like that?

You only get the one serial code - - - how many machines you can use it on will be stated in the licence terms.

All the devices you install it on must be in your family household at the same address

Allowing anyone who lives elsewhere to use your serial code is illegal!

Your friend must buy his own licence/serial code.
