Black Screen of Death

The screen on my Compaq died last night. I bought this July of 05. For a backup of my Desktop. I have not used it much. But for the past 2 months+ of heavy use. Just web surfing and gaming. I'm not going to pay HP service center to fix this. So I will not be recomending Compaq to anyone. A laptop screen should last longer than mine did.

That really sucks. Are you sure it's the screen though? Have you tried hooking it up to an external monitor?

Cancel The Black screen of Death. After 24 hours. My lappy is back.
