Question Black screen on lenovo.

Hi,

Fist of all, I'm completely useless with laptops so need some help.

I've tried turning on my laptop, it turns on perfectly but the screen is blank.

Once connecting it to an external monitor I can see my screen, but laptop screen appears like this :

Does this mean I need a replacement screen?

Hi.

Its a broken screen and surely need replacement. You can search online which part do you need by typing your laptop model number or disassemble your lcd and look at the back of the screen.

Mostly only resolution and pin count must be the same. And also confirm before buying if the pin socket is on the left or right side.
