black screen on

hi
i turn off my plugged in laptop which is on battery,in a dark room after the fans stop working which means that the laptop is off you can still see a black screen why this happend?

Mine shows a black screen when I turn it off. Odd, innit?

If the fans stop, it's either sleeping or turned off. Try removing the battery and see what it looks like when you pull the mains lead.
