Black wire to my laptop sceen is damage can i by the black wire

I cut the black wire because it was smash from dropping it ...so can i rewire it back r what...i know its the black wire makin it not work...it would come on n then go out n i would hit it to come back on so i tryed to fix it🙁...help me pleasss

if you google the model of your laptop you may be able to fine the wire as a spare part. depends on where the wire is. if it inside the lcd screen then your looking at a speaker or inverter wire. if it under the keyboard it could be the on switch...speaker...cmos battery.. if you cant find the wire then find someone that can crimp a jumper on to both ends and then cover the jumper crimp with heat shrink tube. or have someone soilder on a new wire and then cover both ends with tube,,
this way only works for wires that not moved or under stressed. if they move the join will fail.
