blacking of screen samsung plasma tv

Solution
If it's a new one, contact Samsung to have it fixed under warranty.

If it's not new, I'm afraid that's what happens to plasma TVs after some years. Will need professional repair or buy a new TV but not a plasma one! I think plasma ones are much less popular now because of the problems they've had which the manufacturer's either didn't know about or didn't tell us.

It'll be a crook board needing replacement. Take it to a Tv repairer near you, there would be a few around. If its not a simple board swap you could be offered another Plasma Tv as replacement.

Plasma's were the best in image quality, its a shame these TVs weren't given the chance to improve in aspects deterring people then the market wouldn't have been left with these inferior gimmick TVs known as LCDs.
