Block My Caller ID Automatically on Motorola V400

Can this be done? I don't like my number exposed and I don't want to go
through that block next call stuff every time.

I understand there are menus of hidden codes in most cell phones. How about
the V400? How do you unlock it to take a look.

Just ask your carrier to do it.

Settings, In-Call Setup, My Caller ID, All Calls:Hide ID.

You probably have the choice NEXT CALL ONLY.
That means that only your next call will show your ID and after that it
won't anymore.

there is gsm codes that can do this. i dont know what it is but you can
search on google for gsm codes, im sure you will find it quickly..
keep in mind that if you do this, you might not get correctly billed for
Mobile to Mobile calls.. it states it on most terms of use and since you
made it that way you cant dispute the charges if you get someone that knows
what they are talking about.
