blu-ray not recognized in HDMI imput

I have a Samsung DB-J5500/XY Blu-Ray player that has always worked well except for one thing. When I upgraded the media room , the signal doesn't make it to the Samsung Smart TV through the receiver. I bough a Denon AVR-X2100W receiver with many HDMI ports on the back but Blu-Ray doesn't work on any of them through the ARC port. I have Humax DVR, WDTV LIVE connected to HDMI ports and they work perfectly. What should I do to fix that problem?
