Hi, so I have an LG 43UH6100 TV with a Bose Solo 5 soundbar connected through optical. I am wanting to setup a Bluetooth transmitter so I can use wireless headphones with my TV. On the back of my TV it has the red and white RCA connectors which is where the transmitter connects. However, when I go to settings and audio out I have no option to change from optical audio to rca audio. So how can I get it to work so I can transmit the audio from the tv wirelessly to headphones? Any help would be really appreciated, I have been really frustrated about this bc it seems simple but I can't figure it out.

That TV doesn't have RCA audio outputs only inputs.
You can split the optical audio output and get a BT transmitter with an optical input.
If the TV had analog audio outputs they would be line level output that would be OK to use with any device that accepted that output of about 2v max. It would not drive headphones or speakers.
It's probably a limitation of those RCA Phono connectors on the telly, they can't recognise BT transmitters. I think those phono connectors are designed to be connected by wires direct to the external amplifier of a sound system.
That's how I've got my new TV set up, works perfectly.

So it looks like you can't use a BT transmitter in the way you're trying to use it.
