Bluetooth on Smart tv

I have a samsung UN40H6203AF smart tv. The samsung wireless keyboard that i would like to use only works on the higher models with bluetooth capability. All the forum posts from the samsung reps I've seen say that this is where the issue lies and its not software related. My question is, couldn't i simply use a bluetooth reciever via USB to connect the keyboard to the TV? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Mt tv does support keyboard/mouse use, it just doesn't have bluetooth. If the only issue here is bluetooth connectivity then a bluetooth reciever should solve this. My desktop doesn't have bluetooth either but works just the same with a USB reciever. So that being said, are you saying that my TV wouldn't recognize the reciever? Or does not have the ability to run the required software?
