I would like a recommendation for a Bluetooth speaker that will connect to a Samsung Soundbar. The SB currently connects to the TV, but in addition (not in place of) I also want sound to the BT speaker.

I think the speaker will need to have a display of BT sources (in this case the SB) to select for pairing (I tried a small speaker that had no such display, and thus no pairing).

Thank you!

Solution
I doubt it's possible to pair the speaker to the soundbar.
It is possible to get the soundbar and BT speakers to play at the same time.
You can split the audio output of the TV and connect the soundbar and a low latency BT transmitter to it. Pair the transmitter to the speaker. There may still be a delay on the speaker.
I think this transmitter

has a pass through so you can don't need the splitter.

Which Samsung SB and which TV is it?

The speakers have to support the BT version of the TV or/and SB
Hi, thank you.

The SB is the Samsung HW-H450, but not sure about the TV (mother in law's).

The manual says:

Check if the Bluetooth device supports the Bluetooth compliant stereo headset function.

Connect only to a Bluetooth device that
supports the A2DP (AV) function.

You cannot connect the Soundbar to a
Bluetooth device that supports only the HF
(Hands Free) function.

Thank you very much, I'll take a look.
