Bluetooth speaker disconnects from phone impromptu

My portable bluetooth speaker keeps disconnecting from phone bluetooth and/or USB connection

Try disconnecting it completely from the phone and forgetting the device on the phone. Then restart the phone and try connecting again. If the problem persists then I would start to wonder if the battery is going on the speaker or if there are other issues with it.
