Bluetooth stopped working on laptop

Acer extensa 5635 laptop has Bluetooth button next to WiFi button. Haven't had laptop long but when I got it the light for the Bluetooth button would be lit up blue when computer was on. I never did get a chance to use it but now I'm trying to set it up/use it and the lights not on and can't find anything in device manager about Bluetooth. Any ideas on what to do or where/what else to check? Thanks in advance!!!
