Booting not working.

My laptop (InsydeH20 BOIS) turn off and back on but its says "no bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key." I don't know what that mean, how to fix it, or don't want my data gone. What do I do? Please help me.

Hi,

It seems like the HDD is either not being detected or not set as the first boot device.
- Start by going into BIOS then go to Boot tab and under Boot Priorities make sure that your HDD is set as the first boot device.
- You can also just reset BIOS to default by pressing F9 once and say yes when you're asked if you want to save the changes.
- If all these will not work and you've checked BIOS and your HDD is not detected that means it's a hardware failure and a replacement HDD is needed.
- Last step you can also try is to reseat the HDD, remove it and put it back in making sure it's seated properly.
