Bose equalizer other brand speakers

Can I use other brand of speakers to pair with Bose 901 speakers.

Sure, it may sound odd to you but nothing would prevent you from connecting different speaker brands to an amp.

You can do it but the EQ is set for the unique design of the Bose 901 The Bose has 9 6" full range speakers (one fires forward the other eight backwards). No tweeters. That requires boost in both the bass and treble that could damage other speakers that have tweeters and small woofers.
Best thing is to sell the Bose EQ and get one that is for general use.
