Bose Wave IV Sound Systm

I want to connect wired speakers to this unit? Has anyone done this and how? Bose says it cannot be done.

looks like it only has inputs on the rear, not outputs. without opening it up and jury-rigging a soldered on connection instead of the internal speakers you're SOL. can it be done? sure, but its not practical

Bose suggested using the headphone output.. We will try it but I am dubious. Thank you for your response..

if it has one you could use that with powered speakers. from the images i saw i did not see one.
