What to do?? Brand-new Asus c201p as a gift but it will NOT charge to be wireless- any suggestions

If it is brand new then have the person who bought it either give you the receipt to take it in and exchange it or have them take it in to exchange it for a working one. No new device should give you problems.

Well..I am in BC..gift came from Amazon and son who sent it is in Toronto. .. not so easy?

if there is a failure on the unit. your friend should be able to email you the amazon info that he baught it. he should also if it within the return time to have amazon make a pre paid shipping lable from his account. then all he has to do is send the lable to you as a pdf. all you do is take the unit to a shipper store and mail it back. when the return is done all your firend does is order a replacment unit to you.
