Brand new screen

I installed a brand new screen on my samsung laptop and when i turned it on the screen was white with evenly spaced black horizontal lines. Please Help!!!

It could be that the ribbon cable you reconnected is so very slightly off-line, it's difficult to see it without a magnifying glass.

You'll have to go back in and this time, check it's working properly before screwing the screen to the side arms and putting the bezel back.
