Solved! Broken I think

Like a few months before,i clicked the software update,then my mom called me for bedtime,so I shut down my laptop. Then until now,I opened the laptop then it says trying to bring back previous version,after a few seconds,it was starting,then it says trying to bring back previous version,it happened again and again.To help you classify how to Fix it,the info of my laptop is:

HP LAPTOP,Intel core i7
I just hope someone helps me

Try this...

1. Turn off the laptop.
2. Turn off your WiFi, or take the laptop to an area where there isn't any WiFi. (If connected via Ethernet, unplug it.)
3. Turn on the laptop.
4. Once it fully loads, then turn on your WiFi again.

It should work now. Sometimes (especially in 10) updates, including those that come after a reset, can get the computer stuck. It happens when an update fails, for whatever reason, and the device continually tries to get it to install over and over. Leaving you 'stuck'. Until you take away its ability to continue trying the update, hence the no WiFi, then it should load.

Apart from the above ^^ try starting the laptop in safe mode, and manually roll back to a previous version of Windows - be careful when doing this as you may lose files depending on when your last rollback point was.

If all this fails, you may want to try a fresh installation of Windows.

You may have to do a factory recovery ---- you made the big mistake of shutting down your laptop during (or at the beginning of) a Windows update (software update? Windows I assume you meant).


If you have anything important saved on the laptops hard drive (like pictures, docs etc) copy them to another drive before doing factory recovery (If necessary, you can temporarily remove and connect the hard drive to another computer to copy your files across)
