Budget Gaming Computer HELP!

Okay this is my first computer build I want to build a PC under $500 (without windows 8.1),
Ill be playing League of legends, some random little games PLUS do college homework on it.

I just want at LEAST 60 fps on max settings on LoL and fast.

I also want a Dvd drive.

Both the rigs seem almost the same, so I'd pick any of the above. I would go with the first one. One tip would be to get a cooler for the CPU it can get hot when playing games mine used to reach temps up to 80 (celsius) and the GPU seems great it can and will play almost all the games you could trow at it and it would defenitly reach 60 fps on LOL
