Budget Laptop Question

I am looking for a laptop, preferably 17in 1080p screen, for mostly Word processing and Netflix.

My current laptop is an HP Dv7, i7-26XXMQ, radeon 64XX graphics. It's 4 years old and sounds like it is taking off when the fans come on. It lags when I type on Word, and yes, I have removed all bloatware/done everything I can to speed it up. If you can recommend a fix, I would gladly try it out, otherwise, I will just buy a new one.

My budget is $750 or less. I know I can't get a GPU for this kind of money. I am just looking for a laptop that looks great and won't piss me off with how slow it is.

8GB of RAM or more if you like using tons of tabs in your browser.

My laptop has 8GB of RAM. Maybe I have a bad stick, but it's time for a new laptop in my opinion.

I think it's your HDD, throw it through the window and buy a SSD.

Of course, a new laptop won't bad.
