Bush tv 3 years old how can I connect soundbar

I have a Bush dled48287 but I need to connect a soundbar.My son has tried but to no avail

You need to post the specific model of soundbar, not just the manufacturer, since different models have different connectivity options. Posting vague or incomplete info doesn't help us to help you.

TV seems to have a headphone jack so that could be used to connect the TV to the soundbar aux analog input.
TV also has SCART so an adapter would provide an analog audio output too.
