Haswell is roughly between 7% to at most 10% more powerful than a similarly clock Ivy Bridge CPU; depending on the benchmark.

It also consumes a little less power which means longer battery life assuming the same battery capacity.

The Intel HD 5200e (GT3e) performance being comparable to a nVidia GT 650m is not being stated by Anandtech, that is what Intel is stating, or at least implying when they demo a laptop using an Intel HD 5200e against a laptop with a GT 650m.

Additionally, there is going several different models of the next gen Intel HD graphics core. The more expensive laptops will have the Intel HD 5200.

Yeah, I'm not arguing the case that it is or it isn't equal or comparable to an nVidia GT 650M, just trying to make the point that to focus on CPU improvements alone in Haswell over Ivy Bridge is to sorta miss the point. You are certainly correct regarding the CPUs, but that's only half of the chip -- the iGPU is the other half and the improvements in that half are way impressive. For an iGPU, that is.
