Buying a laptop (Need advice)

Hi.. I was using a very basic HP notebook with low specs for 5 years. Now I am just straight away tired and was looking forward to buy a new one.
My sole purpose is gaming but at the same time have a smooth performance.
I tend to get a bit confused when deciding which laptop I am going to buy since a lot of stuff has to be taken in consideration.
While looking at several laptops and taking help from a friend of mine.. I narrowed it down to two laptops.
The budget is 999USD to 1100USD.
Since I reside in India.. obviously I am going to pay in INR and buy it from a store and not at all order online.
So I am going to need a bit help here..
Can you suggest me the best gaming with performance laptop at the price range I mentioned?
And the two laptops I narrowed it down to are
Asus FX553VD
Asus FX502VM
I am confused as to which one to go for.
