Buying a new Battery for my laptop.

Hello, I am wanting to buy a new battery+charger for a laptop I have. I looked at the laptop specs (HP G60-231wm) and it says the battery is 6 cell. I found compatible batteries athttp/, There are two batteries listed, one is 6 cell the other is 12. Are the two batteries the same in terms of compatibility? Will the 12 cell last longer than the 6 cell?

Yes, Generally the more cells are present in a battery the long it will provide power for. However batteries with higher cell counts take longer to recharge.

beware though some laptops wont run with non-genuine batteries.
