Buying a used Alienware (2011 model)

As the title suggests want to buy a used Alienware with the following specs

I7 2820 QM
8 gb ram
500 gb hdd
Nvidia gt 555m 1.5 gb

For 8k (120$) with win 10 installed

The reason is my z500’s gpu gt 740m died suddenly leaving me with just intel HD 4000

Will the gt 555m be sufficient for gt 740m replacement? I know the 5 series is fermi artc and discontinued
But I saw ppl playing AC origins with i5 2nd gen gt 540m @ 25 FPS (lowest setting)

So in reality will the gt 555m handle games up to 2016 (I don’t want games beyond 2016 but if they work it’s a win (^^)

While that old machine will still be fairly slow, $120 is a pretty reasonable price for a working laptop with those specs IMO. However the GT555m may not handle 2016 games very well.
