It depends a bit but preferably under $800.

At least 15", I like a bigger screen.

It doesn't really matter much to me.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
In a way portable but one that works for games.
5. How much battery life do you need?
To last a school day, so over 4 hours.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Absolutely, games like The Sims3 and Dragon Age at least at Medium.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Basic school stuff and Internet browsing.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
At least 500GB DDR.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Having one would be a big plus but if the Computer's otherwise good, it's not an absolute.

HP, Acer, ASUS, Lenovo: because they're familiar but I'm not opposed to other brands, just not Apple 'cause I don't like Mac and not VAIO, I think it's a bit weird.
