Okay I'm done with my headphone the Bose Triport. It's a good traveling headphone but I couldn't just get enough excellent bass with these old can. So that said I'm willing to to $100-$200 for a new set of headphone. I can appreciate a great sound quality for I have a good set of hearing. Please don't criticize me with the Triport. 8) My system for music and movies mainly is my pc which I used as well for gaming. I have a Creative X-Fi sound card in it and it's has given me a great improvement over the onboard Realtek'97 audio chip.

I'm good with the speakers as I have the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 and it's a great performer. The reason I want the headphone is for privacy and more importantly be able to rattle my eyeballs with loud music and bass without waking up everyone in the house. So please recommend me a great headphone for $100-$200 price range and also please point out some reviews if there's one.

By the way, is there any software or audio to test how good is my hearing and or headphone?

Thanks guys,

ditto on the Senneiser headphones.
I got a pair of the PXC 250 headphones. they sound amazing, and the active noise cancelling is great on airplanes (or a noisy office). cost me $125 about 3 years ago.

do a search for that model # and see what you find for reviews

I have a set of Schure E3C (in the ear type), which sound amazing. They seal to your ear canal via soft plastic/rubber inserts, so the do an excellent job at isolating outside noise, *and* they're very quiet to others. Excellent Bass, very balanced and even sounding. If I had to ding them, they seem to get a little "chest~y" on female voices when they're pushed hard.
