i want to play dvds on my laptop (toshiba a60 sat pro

Well, according to Amazon, your computer has dvd functionality. But it is really old, watching dvds on that would be a headache to set-up, but anyways.
Here are the steps:
Open up your web browser, and search for VLC Media Player.
Go to the official website, download the player.
Install VLC.
Once it is installed, open up your DVD/CD drive and put the disc into the drive. Close it, and once the DVD is recognised in My Computer, right-click on it, and go to autoplay, then select VLC media player...
It might take awhile, but it should play.
