Can a display from an HP g4-1015 be installed on a g4-2320?

1015 died, 2320 with a bad display is available. Can I swap the display from the bad computer onto the one with the bad display?

I hate to buy the 2320 and find out after the fact that it won't work. All the specs appear to be the same on the displays....the 2320 is about .15 inches wider than the 1015 overall. I'd like to take the whole top assembly off the 1015 and transfer it directly over to the 2320 if possible.

I appreciate the info, but I'm trying to determine if the display from my defective 1015 will fit on a 2320.

Sorry I mix up the good and the bad screen. The only way is to compare the numbers of both the screen. But you don't have the 2320 in your hand.
