Can Bose 402 speakers be used with 802C controller

I have a Bose 802C controller and also have Bose 402 speakers - can the be used together

Since the speakers are quite different the EQ for each would be very different. You could open the controller up and see if there are any switches that indicate which speaker it is set for and change them. Otherwise it won't work properly and could damage your speakers.

Ken - the EQs curves are very different, especially on the low frequencies and that could damage your speakers. I have a spare 402 EQ - if you send me your mailing information, I will send it to you. [no email]
