Solved! Can dimming zones turn completely off? (Full Array Local Dimming) TV's

Im thinking of buying a Vizio P series with FALD but I want to see how close the blacks can get to OLED.

very close, but still OLED is better

The best way to see it is going to a local shop review it yourself

The problems arise when you have a bright object against a dark background. That tends to produce halo effects around the object and doesn't allow the backlight to go out completely.
OLED doesn't have this kind of issue since there is no backlight.
