IPTV box should connect directly to the TV.
TV audio output is already connected to an input on the sound system. That connection should work for anything hooked to the TV and the TV tuner and apps.

The iptv is connected to the tv. The tv is connected to the sound system by hdmi cable.

The tv has a optical audio output. The sony sound system does not have optical input. Only has hdmi cables. The mag254 has a Spdif.

Maybe but there's no reason to do that. The audio from the IPTV will come through the TV to the Sony.
